use a buffer. had this problem on my s15 lights. heat and rain distoration made like a cloudy film on it. used some dealer polish and buffer sh!t came right off! clean as new

very fine rubbing compound works well on headlights especially for small scratches or slight discoloration
a friend has used the wal mart kit and it cleared up pretty good
i have meguirs plastix cleaner, it works a bit with yellowing but not as well as wet sanding
I wet sanded my headlights with 2000 grit paper the other day.
It took the haze and yellowing right off. I buffed with plastix and it didn't fully remove the scratches made, so I went and bought something better.
This stuff is like beige gold.
