205/50/15 vs. 215/50/15

not to get off subject, but aren't 205/50/15s to small? I'm buying new tires and I was told that 205/55/15 is as small as you should go on stockies, since the speedo will be quite a bit off. around 6% i believe, but if the car isn't a DD i guess that doesn't matter

Yes, 205/50-15's will be shorter then stock.

Good for competition... crappy for gas mileage.

and as for the op...why dont you go with a stock sidewall, i dont understand why you would go smaller, your speedo is off, gasmileage is worse, your wheel gap looks bigger...PSSH i vote go 195/60/15 cuz im pretty sure you arent going to fully utilize the tire anyway...
