Hiya, new with 04 VPB EP3.

Hi all, I'm new here. Got this car a few days ago and it has been modded a little. It has 53K miles on it, runs good. Needs a new Serp. belt though. Got some pics taken...

Here is what I know it has in bold and what I think it has in italics.
    AEM CAI
    Apex'i Cat-back Exhaust
    DC Sports Header
    Neuspeed Springs
    Camber Kit (unknown brand)
    Front Strut Bar (unknown brand)
    Front Sway Bar (unknown brand)

I don't know if it has stock struts or not. It feels like it, but those tires are low profile so that is why it rides hard too. I will prob. be putting the stock size tires on there so my mph and odo reads correct from henceforth... Since the tires are showing alot of wear anyways. In that last pic see how frayed the Serp. belt is? It's getting fixed on Tuesday and I won't be driving it until then. =(

very good looking car, i have the same year and color. i would suggest 205 50 16s if those are 16" wheels. if they are 17" then go with like 215 45 17. i think the neuspeed race springs ride pretty rough but you can make it better with some tokicos or konis.

do you know what kind of wheels those are?

and that strut bar looks like a cusco replica (ebay?). authentic cusco have blue mounts.

I want to eventually move to 17". 215 45 17" would only be like 1% off on the speedo/odo. Would running 205 55 16 (stock size) look dumb or rub if I got that until i put 17s on? Just wondering why you'd rule stock size out.

205/45/16 is what I got on there right now. I may try selling them rims and getting 215/45/17.

i wish i could get them off of you.

205 45 16s are 23.3" in diameter and 205 50 16s are 24.1" in diameter. that is a big difference when you are that low.

Yea, I am amazed the bumper is only really scratched up underneath. I take curbs as I cringe. =\

Mostly the exhaust piping takes the brunt of it all. 205/45/17 is a really good upgrade size. It is only like .3 inches off in diameter and 1% off on the speedo.

Right now I am 1.6 inches lower in wheel diameter than stock on that drop it's too much, the previous owner may have been crazy. Neuspeed springs are not adjustable right?

the neuspeed race springs like settle down to a2" drop but I'm not sure if that's the ones you have. 215 45 17s and stock size are both around 24.5" but with your drop I would maybe do like a 225 40 17 or 205 50 16.

Well the Neuspeed sport springs with 1.5-1.75" drop are orange and the race with 2.0" drop are yellow (mine)... Unless I am not seeing all their choices. 225 is not too wide for the wheel well?

225 is fine aslong as you have the right wheel offset. Well neuspeed springs are known for sagging over time. I wouldnt be surprised if the race springs settled down to a 2.25" drop
