    Exedy stg 2 clutch gone?

I had my clutch, flywheel, quaife lsd, and dss 2.9 installed a year ago. About a month ago my clutch started to slip. I noticed that my clutch was getting weaker and weeker. So last week I let out my clutch in first gear with no gas, and nothing happened. Now to get my car moving, my rpms need to be in the 4k range. I don't have a high hp set-up, jrsc-r with 207 whp. Is my clutch gone?

It died in a year? No offense, but you have to drive pretty bad to kill the Exedy Stage 2 that quick. I learned to drive stick on my Exedy Stage 2, drove 11 months with bolt-ons, plus 6 months on the JRSC-R (several track nights and street runs), plus whatever mileage the previous owner put on the clutch, and it's still strong.

I have an Exedy stg.II also. I did hear that they do wear more quickly than an oem unit. Something about less clutch surface area w/ the 3-puck design. I love my clutch, she feels strong all the way to 8,600K.

Sounds like its slipping if you have to rev that high just to get it to grip... My stg 2 took a little over a year before it started slipping...

Were you hard on it when it was first installed or did you give it some time to break in
