    lean protection

k here are my mods, cai, dc shorty heade, spoon axel back. i am a bit worried about running too lean, and i want to enable lean protection. which Lamba should i be using with k pro, 1 or 2 14.2 or 13.8? i tried it once and it felt fucked up when at wot, like it cut out. i think that the cutting out is normal for the lean protection but is it going to happen all the time if i enable it.

lean protection is only needed for turbo applications and any situation where an overboost can occur.
Because a SC is mechanically limited on the amount of boost it can produce, even that is not good to run lean protection on. (It is also theorized that lean protection cuts on the SC can damage it and cause premature failure due to the sudden stress a cut can create)
I would recommend you not bother with the lean protection.
    How to properly use Apostrophes
The rev limiter is not meant to be used as a shift light

Really? I've never seen anything mentioned about overboosting in relation to the lean protection - I assumed it was just to protect against going too lean, regardless of your method of making power. I've had lean protection turned on because I (rarely) hit a sharp lean spike around 2.5k under heavy load (with the JRSC).

    Now you have me worried...

In my case, it's on the part-throttle cells, and it's really hard to isolate it. I didn't expect the tuner to hit it. I've been trying to catch it on a datalog and tune it out on the street, but again it's insanely hard to hit it when I want to.

Yeah, now THAT is what I consider my biggest fear with the engine.
