I'm currently using Collinite 845 (liquid version of 476). I usually use it in the winter as a topper for the Klasse twins. I was suprised it gives as good of gloss and almost as much depth as Poorboys Natty's. It's very "bright" looking. Really easy to apply.

depends on the product. if its one of the high end waxes then your only supposed to do it like 2 times a year. for most of the off the shelf waxes, which in reality are just polish, you can apply like every other wash.

yea, it sorta works. doesn't last very long tho and the shine isn't as good as regular paste or liquid wax. i got lazy and wasnt in a waxing mood and bought the Eagle one micro wax spray. waste of money IMO. haha, The time and work you put into cleaning your car shows!!

I used to own professional detailing equipment.. mostly for personal use, but I did jobs on the side as well, and what can I say about it is this:

The law of diminishing returns comes in play big time with these products.

The only thing that I would be picky about is the buffer (assuming you machine polish instead of hand polish).

I've used many expensive clay bars, mitts, towels, sealants, polishes, cleaners, glazes, pads, etc etc, and honestly, just find a decent product and stick with it if it works for you. Don't freak out cause it's not $$$, special order, or has a fancy name/packaging.

I don't truly believe, for example, my S100 Carnauba was worth the price over the off-the-shelf Turtle Carnauba I have in my garage at the moment. There is a difference, but it's negligible. I have a silver car, and it's my DD, so the price jump does not justify the slight increase in quality.

Also, I'd like to add, if you want proven products all around and would like to stick with one brand for simplicity, I'd recommend Meguiar's professional line. It will typically come in an ugly tan container.

I used 3 different polishes (cleaner, swirl remover, glaze), and 2 sealants (polymer sealant and Carnauba wax) all from this particular line, and supplemented these with an array of good pads, my PC orbital, microfiber mitts/towels, and a Clay Magic clay bar.
