Doing my job to lend a hand rebuilding the DIY section. Here is a nice little write up abput which wires to tap.
This is mainly for GReddy Turbo Timer but apparently works for Apexi as well. Picture speaks for itself.
VSS wire is on "A" connector #18, check kpro's help menu under "reference -> ecu connectors".
e-brake release kill is the brown wire.
GReddy's full auto-timer instruction is here: http://www.greddy.com/img/PHP/products/pdf/685.pdf
Credit goes out to esmith13 for the pic and dsecription.
ps. can someone let me know where to put the inline fuse or if it is needed? Thanks.

ok thats what i thought, just wanted to make sure.
jeez with this diagram it should take like 20 minutes or less. sweet
Put the inline fuse on the white wire.
what exactly is the inline fuse? and also: how do you get to that part, take the top and bottom of the steering wheel plastic cover part off?
There are 3 phillips screws that hold the column shroud on. Simply remove them from the underside and gently pry the shroud apart.
The fuse protects the turbo timer and the car from damage in case of a short.
Carefull pulling off the plastic. The stupid clips on the side like to snap into a billion pieces when you pull the top cover off. As of now I've been through 3 of them (though they only cost like $4)
would it be the same for a hks? hks has different colored wires?
All quality accesories come with fuses/fuseholders attatched.
On our civics on the larger harness:
White = 12 volts constant
Black/White = starter
Black/yellow = ignition
Black/red = accesory
White/red = second accesory
On the smaller green plug in the pic
Green/orange (pin 4) = parking brake
