Every ECU or larger module has many plugs. They can either be labeled numerically (speeled that wrong as hell) or by letters.
ie: plug a, plug b, plug c, etc.
So, the VSS wire he noted is in plug "a" pin, pin 18.
Honda is one of the kinder companies that has the pin numbers on the plugs.
If you unplug a plug on our ecu's, you'll see usually 3 rows. On the face of the plug you will see a number on each end of each row. If it's a 36 pin plug, the first row will be 1-12, second row is 13-24, third row 25-36.
