    My New Rims and tires

Well as i said before I ordered some Falken RT-615s in the 225/45/17 flavor.
I also picked up some Enkei 17 inch rims. The Rims were Cleared Aluminum and in bad shape. So i fixed some of the bad spots with PolyGlaze (Bondo for bare metal) and painted them. Here is a picture of one.

The Tires and Wheels will be put on the car tomorrow after work. I'll post up some pictures then, so everyone can see what kind of clearance we are talking about with these sized tires on a car dropped with S-Techs.

    Ryan

Edit: Tires are on and they do not rub. The front right did, but only because my fender liner was messed up. I replaced it today, and it stopped.

Notes on the look. The rims look bigger then 17s because of the design, so the wheels look pretty aggressive. Ill have to get my k24 in asap to back up the wheel/tire combo. Tires grip like crazy when dry, wet they are alright. Overall not bad, just a bit bumpy.

Some of you might remember I did A DIY on painting wheels back before the forum had a stroke. I painted them a color that is pretty close to this, Only darker. I like this color a lot more, and can't wait to see them on my NHBP ep.

    Whoa they look huge!

As a former RT615 owner, please be careful when roads are wet. The tires don't have anything resembling good grip then-- your car is too nice to mess up in some mishap you can't control. You strike me as older/ wiser, so I'm sure you know what I mean.

haha, I'm a bit more mild then most people my age. I know better then to drive like a jack a$$ in the rain. I don't even do that when it's dry.

    PS. better pictures are up.

They are not my first choice, I needed a cheap functional rim that would allow for a wider tire. My k24 is going to be a Tq monster, and i need the rubber.

Total cost of the Rims $250

would've looked better black or gunmetal i believe, but you did a good job
the rims are a little too "future car" for my taste, and your brakes look massively tiny in there haha!

Not really my taste in rims, but for 250 that's a hell of a deal and very nice choice with the tires.
