    RSX base?

i just bought an ep3 with a blown motor. i would like to do a quick swap just to get it running.

i found a base rsx motor with an automatic transmission. i want to know if this will be a direct replacement to my ep3 with manual transmission.

other than this forum where are other good retailers for used replacement engines?

it should be a direct swap. But switch out the intake manifold, tb with the ep3 one.

You will also need a EP3 ECU, engine harness and a flywheel(get a typeS as most aftermarket clutchs use that pin pattern).

I think you would be further ahead to find a K24A1 and swap that in, alot more torque and a much better daily driver(probably cheaper as well). You will still need a ep3 mani, TB, and engine harness.

im only swapping out the engine and will retain all of the ep3 stuff. i can just use the ep3's regular harness, ecu, and flywheel right?

k24a1 is definitely plausible... but i would like something more direct if possible

That will work fine, just slip the DC5base engine in there with all the EP3 ancillarys and you will be good to go.

don't for get to use the EPs flywheel bolts, along with the flywheel. AT flywheel bolts are no good.
