    DIY for cam install?

    does enyone have a diy to install cams into a A3 cant seem to find eny on here and yes i did search but dirent come up with enything thanx

    You'll need the manual first of all.
    I replaced only my intake cam.
    Here's the DIY:

    There is another DIY; I think on clubrsx that shows bungee cording the timing chain to the underside of the hood. If you used my method on the intake side and something like that or similar on the exhaust side, it should be pretty easy.
    Just don't let any slack in the chain.

    Also make sure to pin the auto-tensioner prior to any cam removal. Not sure if I wrote that in the DIY. (actually said I skipped steps but gave the link http://www.k-series.com/tech_detail....=K_CAM_INSTALL)

    Make sure to download the manual and read it completely and follow the tightening sequence for the cam towers exactly or you can snap a camshaft in half.

    Follow the factory manuel cause the bungee way is a total pain in the ass.
