    A/C compressor from RSX base

My A/C compressor just went out in my 04 ep3 i was wondering if anyone knew if a compressor from a 02-05 RSX base model would work i know that they both have the same engine i just did not know if the a/c compressor was the same. I can't find a compressor for a Ep3 for a good price but there are tons of RSX's in a near by junk yard.
Sorry if this is in the wrong place first post and was not sure where to put it.

I really think it will work. I have worked closely with both units and see no differences.

I agree, I'm sure it will work. I'm using my K20A3 compressor with a K24A2, and I know people that have swapped other K-series stuff around too.

okay so I got the diagrams for the two a/c compressors and they are different, however I believe that the type-s has the same a/c compressor as a ep3 but haven't been able to obtain a diagram of it.

My boy has a RSX-S and is using a Ep3 AC compressor so im sure the base RSX comp would work fine. He says his works better then the one that came stock on his motor lol.

the only thing about whta you are saying is that a base rsx and a type-s RSx use different a/c compressors.. So I think the type-s will work but not a base model.

is removing the radiator necessary to reconnect the hose to the compressor?

No you don't have to remove the radiator to reconnect the a/c lines to the compressor, it will actually make a lot more work in the end because you will have to refill and make sure to bleed all the air out of the cooling system.
