    K20Z3 Intake Manifold Clearance in EP3

    Anyone with a K20Z3/Z1 Swap or anyone that has the Z3 Intake mani have any clearance issues with the front brace?

    That is the rbc. Yes there are clearance issues. You wil have to trim the radiator support for it to fit unless you have a k24.

    The Rad support will need some surgery with a right angle grinder. I have done three RBC installs in the EP3 w/K20 blocks and they all have needed it.

    Mine was wedge into the engine bay. I have like 5mm gap after the shop wedge it in. Will load some pics when I get a chance. Man, and I thought I was so cool having a swapped z3 in mine back in 08... :(

    Question:

    So the RBC isn't a fitment issue (in the engine bay) on a K24A2?

    The RBC/K24 combo usually requires some hood skeleton modification, and possibly the rad support.

    The k24 deck height is 19mm higher. You will have to carve a little, but not as bad.
