Those with the replica CTR wing: Please read!

I'm taking my replica CTR wing to get modified, painted, and installed this week. I need to know exactly what to tell the body shop to modify. Sorry if I sound clueless, I just don't want my car to sit in a body shop all week. Thanks a lot.

    1) Which holes need to be shaved? A, B, C, or D? Then the holes should be filled in and sanded, correct?
    2) Should I use double sided tape to keep the wing more stable, and/or prevent rattles? If so, where should I apply the tape?

shave A off. I took mine to a shop and actually took my old one off and showed them where the new one sat, the guy made some marks and sanded it down from there. they had my car for a day so they could test fit and make some adjustments. I actually pick the spoiler up in a few days.

yeah, shave A and the surrounding area that sits on the glass. I used the existing bolts that were used on the stock wing, and I had to have two new bolts to use, because the stock one has these two bolts that have square shapped heads, so there for no socket could fit around them to screw them in.

Hey dustin, you need to shave more than just the A mounts, you have to shave the entire side off. It's the entire ridge that needs to be grinded down and filled

Here is mine after being modified:

I still need to know about the double sided tape. It seems to me that I would have to have something to keep the wing from rattling against the window. If I need it, along what part of the wing should I apply it?

Yes, I got it from ebay. The quality is impressive for a $99 wing. I was surprised.
