Holly HEll!!!.... Looks great, keep it up.....
Blacked out headlights
Black wrinkle valve cover
And a before and afte of my first and second Home made intakes
Before
After
I know i might get in trouble for this but I have my old 3" Intake if anyone wants it. No cone or hoses or anything, you need a rubber grommet for the Air intake temp sensor too.
The intake is free BTW Trying to get it out of my trunk.
looks proffesional to me.
i was just wondering, does it matter where on the tube the hoses are connected?
i think i might have tried to put them both closer to the engine so they dont run straight across the big open space...
On which intake the first or second? On both the little black hose is only about 4" Long, on the CA or fender intake the ahh w/e ill remake it later. I have the number for the Bender to spit another one out.
Now that I look at the picture the blue hose on the second intake should only be about 8" long but I cut it at 13 just to have some slack. I can cut it shorter and make it look better.
It should run about like this.

I have been doing Mandrel Bent exhaust, Intakes, and IC piping for about 2 Yrs now.
the before intake was 3" and had a cool gurgle sound and was sitting n the coolant line. The after intake is quieter but is soo much better. More mid ranger than the 3" before. The after is 2.5" btw. the car feels much more responsive on the low to mid range and if you look closely I made a bracket and welded it to the front side of the after and its holding the coolant hose down. its at the left corner on the battery near the pos terminal. Little piece of metal sticking up and I took a 2.25" muffler clamp u-bolt and welded it to that and welded it to the intake.
(just hope it doesnt rub through the coolant hose)
EDIT: If you look in the garage thread I think my shop is on the 2nd page with some pics of the work Ive done in the past 2 yrs. Thats only about 5% of what Ive done though.
Headlights are nice! Looks good on the silver paint
Very nice work!!! Mandrel bender, lucky bastard. Keep up the good work.
kids it's muffler pipe, bent w/ 2x vacuum bungs tacked on, simple and only $20 in materials, AEM just polishes and charges too much, DIY is king!!
