I liked the AVS ES100s when I had them, and they are fairly cheap too IIRC. Of course there are also tires like the BFG TA/KD or KDW which are excellent tires but a little more expensive. Of course there are the Falken Azenis as well but they may not last as well as you might like.

i wouldnt use a tire like the rt-615 for dd. besides the tread wear, they arent the best in the wet. anything in uhp summer category or a uhp all season will be fine.

Im on my 3rd set of g-force sports, I get about 30k out of then and they hook damn good considering the tread wear rating. All I used to run on my 91 si was the oldschool falken 215's so imma say the 615 is that much better. All I can say for those is if you can put up with 10-15k life and dry weather only tire..there is no other. My $.02

    anywhere from 25 to 30k

so bfg g-force sports seems to be the choice for most here. 205/60/15 sound good then?

Then I wouldn't get the azenis. The g-force seems like a good choice. Have you looked at the falken ziex 912?

I'm in the same boat, i wanted rims but i'm coming up short on cash. I'm on 15 inche stockies as well and i'm going with the falken ziex 912s just because I deal with water and only drive maybe 3k miles a year.

The 60's might be a tad tall and flexy. Im running the 55's and they flex a little but its predictable. Oh yeah and their friggin awesome in the rain..the sports that is
