    A/F and Gauges

    Hello all,

I'm in the process of getting organized prior to buying K-pro and JRSC. I've been reading that an EGT and A/F gauge are good ones to have. I just needed to know if I can use a general A/F gauge, or do I need the Wideband A/F gauge. I see a huge difference in price, so I wanted to ask first.

As always, thanks for the help and time.

    Danny

    Danny,

It's all in what you want to spend. Of corse it's always good to buy the wideband so you can get a accurate reading. But with K-pro you can check your A/F so a normal guage is good.

don't even worry about an A/F gauge. its not needed. the k-pro reads your a/f ratio from the stock wideband.

like others already said, the wideband is not required but I keep one on the dash just in case lol. If your going to get an A/F guage, only get wideband...the others are totally usesless.
