off topic but:
i was thinking of making a rear fog light since i almost got rear ended a couple months ago on my way to school in dense fog..what size/volt wire should i go with?

Nice.. yeah, i ended up getting the 35W kit...

where'd u mount the ballast? the DDM kit doesn't have a hole to mount the ballast on the car so i tucked it in the rebars and ziptied it.. lol.. heavy duty zip tie.. works ghetto wonders...

how'd u mount the HID bulbs on since the stock mounting bulb cover on the projector doesn't extend long enough to cover the HIDs? I had to put a hole (red section below) in the cover... so now the end of the HID sticks out... covered up the hole with blacktape...

I also mounted the ballasts with zipties and adhesive. As for the lamps, I drilled out the rear housing, then modded the moisture boots to go inside and seal up.

The dremel is quite handy but the brunt of my cutting was done with a 3"cutoff wheel.

u should shadow... the output is nice... too bad they dont make these things with HIDs already included.. i would have paid extra..

doubt anyone would..its very tedious

i ended up ditching the e46 projectors and opted for Lexus ES300 projectors, a bit easier to work with; i only used em once--took the harness out to re-do and then ended up selling the EP
