the Type R had black chrome, not black housing.
you can do a DIY, autozone carries a paint that has the word anodized in it, it comes in blue and a few other colors, one of them is black chrome, spray it over the chrome in your housing and it will look like the real thing.

ya..the person who i bought my car from did that, but when they resealed it, they didnt do a very goos job, cuz now condensation is all over the inside of the lights. any ideas?

I sealed mine with clear silicone and no more weather phenomenon. But I doubt I'll ever get them open again.
