I called a local ab and p shop and I almost fell off my chair. I'm about to say screw the mugen and go for the ctr that I found on a couple of sites, where I can get the wing and have it painted before being shipped out for about the same price that it costs to have the m. one painted. I dont understand if on the ctr wing sites it says it's only ~$85 extra for the paint job.
$250 is about right for spoiler, i paid $400 to have my bumper repainted.

WOW! what is the deal guys. Everyone seems to be getting ripped off pretty hard core.
Pint or NHBP base coat = $40.00 only about 1/8 of it will be used.
Quart of Reducer = $20.00 only 1/16th of it will be used.
Gallon of clear coat = $120.00 only 1/40th of it will be used.

The paint i can see you paying for all of it since the shop doesn't want to pay for a paint it might never use again. But reducer and clear get used on every job.

I wouldn't pay any more the 200.00 to have one painted. and i bet you can get one paint for around $150-175.00. and then just put it on yourself. take it back to the shop after a week and it's fully cured and have them buff it out. Or not, most good painters get a good shine without buffing, but for show quality you have to wet sand and buff to get the layer of Oils out that form right under the surface of the clear.

Man i'm glad i know how to paint........ saves me some dough
