    17x8 on EP3?

Anyone on here running 17x8, everyone in the uk either runs 17x7.5 or 18x7.5, but i would like abit more width. Also what ET's?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks

Yeah you can fit a 17x8 with a +42 offset. You may have to roller the inner lips on the rear quarters to prevent rubbing.

then I'd stick with 7.5. I am on a 17x7.5 +42with some rear camber and the tire is pretty close on a 225. If you ran a 215 and no camber you might be fine on an 8. I'm not sure about inner clearance.

if you ran 215/45/17 you would probly be ok provided you stuck to around a +42 offset. i have 225/45 on 17x8 and dont rub unless i take a very hard corner or have my car packed with people.

Just trying to help you out. You won't have to flare the rear quarters out, just roll that lip on the inside up. But if you don't want any rub at all you should stick with the 7.5" width.

It might work without having to roll your fenders, it will depend on the offset. I'm currently running 17x7.5 +40 and dropped on Mugen SS. The wheels almost sits flush with the fender.

Without rolling the fenders it doesn't sound like u will be able to run a wide enough tire to take full advantage of going with the wider rim.

    with -10 offset and flares!

chrispychicken is running 17x8 +35, but he rolled the rear fenders.

    run 17x7.5 +45 and 235/40/17 tires.

you never said what you are dropped on?

with the right drop you could run that setup without doing anything. like i said i run 17x8 +42 225/45 and am dropped 2 inches and the rear rubs only when i turn very hard or have my car loaded with people. otherwise none at all.

I don't know about you guys but I am going to be running a staggered set-up, helps the car rotate and I don't have to run as much negative camber in the rear and saves the tires a little, plus I won't have to touch the rears, and if I do, it will be some minor, minor rolling......anyways 17x8 235-40-17's Front and 17x7 215-40-17's REAR or 17x7.5 225-40-17's FRONT and 17x7 205-40-17's REAR I will let you guys know how it turns out in a few weeks after I decide and I put em' on
