I am pretty sure once I am done there will be no real savings in money, but it's a project to keep me and my money occupied... I get bored with cars pretty fast once I have them in the condition that I want them, so this one is guaranteed to hold my attention span a little longer.

I took the drivers side wheel off to replace the tranny fluid, and found a "TO DO" list!!!

    Look at the rubbing....

    The fender liner is gone...

    Brakes need work

When trying to stop 18 inch wheels, why bother to have 2 caliper bolts...

Found these in the "black hole" AKA the trunk.. but they don't belong to this car, at least not the front...

Thanks!! I bought the car off a kid who graduated from high school and needed money to get married, I'm assuming the car was given to him.

From your location, I going to assume your stationed in Germany.

Where? I just spent a month and half over there for work.

You re not right...i live in germany...

And when i had seen these unfixed brake caliper, I know why we have to go here every 2 years to "TUEV", where car would be checked for safety and when they say that your car is OK then it has solved a minimum safety standard for driving in the public...

I had a look on the first photos from this EP...and i guess this kid never washed this car...that looks all so ugly...

But I guess too, that your would made some shiny hatch of this "wreck"
, it will have to do much work, but will be possible...

    What part of Deutschland?

I wouldn't want to be driving at Autobahn speeds with this setup, what was done, and not done to this car is more along the lines of stupidity than anything else.

OMG. Was there any brake chatter from the front end to hint that the pin was missing?

I am sure if you follow this thread, you will find multiple things that will lift your self esteem about any mess up you have ever done...

None, but there is some brake fade that I had attributed to the large wheels.
