motor does need a bath. cant wait to see it moving
Yeah I was tearing the motor down but I've been busy trying to get my roomates boosted lsvtec on the road. Hopefully I'll be able to stop by the shop and order my clutch first of next week and do the swap next weekend.
Yeah I completly forgot about the k24a1 sitting the shed We have been working on his crx off and on for more than a year, the problem was that somebody told us the conversion harness was from Rywire and we couldn't figure out why all of the colors on the adapter were different from there website, ended up being from another company all together. In the end we were making things alot harder than they should have been. Hopefully his car will be at the shop in the next week to get a custom front crossmember fabbed.
Ordered my clutch today and should be in by thursday. What is everybody using to clean the block? It's not too dirty, mainly just dirt and a little corrosion from salt it looks like.
i guess just some degreaser unless you have a pressure washer. wats the updates?
Waiting on some more money for RBC, img, belt, fluids, flywheel resurfacing, etc. It's amazing how easily you forget about the small things for a swap. And of coarse all of my bills fall in the middle of the month so I'm trying not to have any overdrafts.
