yes and no.........
I searched but couldn't find a straight answer. Will they rub? I have a set of rpf1's 17 x 7 with Azenis 215/45-17's and want to go wider. I have a stock suspention.
Thanks.
yes and no.........
At one point I was running some 235/45/16s and they rubbed only on hard turns but I was dropped over 2 inches. I did have enough camber to keep them from hitting the fenders.
shud b fine w/ stock suspension. but really 225/45/17 is enough......
I gotta ask why you think you need bigger tires? I was boosted with 300wtq when I was running the 235s...
one of the guys here had 235/40/17 on 17x7.5 +45 wheels w/~1.5" drop. he said he didn't rub.
I guess I can see you wanting more rubber on the ground for the road course but honestly how can you be that serious about the road course if you are rocking stock suspension. I'm not trying to be dick but I just don't understand.

:noidea: maybe to stay in a stock class. :noidea:
Like was said, I chose to keep my stock suspention to stay in a certain class. Plus it's really more about the driver than the car, I have better times than a lot of Civic's and S2000's with modified suspentions. I drive daily with the stock Michilen's and put my 17" wheels on race day. So even a slight rub is no big deal because they'll be off the car by the end of the day.
My EP3 is still my DD car, when I buy a new car this fall, the EP3 will get a set of coil overs and a stiffer chassis and go on a huge diet.
