    12v power source by inside cupholders not working- help

    liek the titale says the 12v power source thing by the cupholders on the center console thing is not working. anyone know what fuse to check? or anything else that would make it not work before i go crazy

    it came unplugged. Or the ground is bad or the 12 volt wore has an open or short. Its an easy fix.

    i took thigns apart and didnt see any loose connectiosn or plugs

    have you tested the power or ground with a meter? i would think you would find your short that way....

    i dont know if there is a fuse for that, i would also look for that.


    edit: found this in s2000 button dyi...." fuse that is for the the cig (it should be second row from the bottom, third from the right)"

    page 22-149

    it says check the voltage and also the fuse is a 15a, no. 18 in the under dash one.


    mine was fine so i have to check other stuff, cant right now though no time

    yeah idk why iut doesnt work, theres a whole thing how to do it in the helms, ill try it when i get some free time

    alright then.

    well do you have a meter so you can test if there is sufficient ground/power at the fusebox? that way you can begin to isolate where you are loosing the connection.
