Check your ball Joints. The castle nut on the bottom may have loosened and your ball joint may be floating under turns.
I have noticed that my car is doing this clicking o knoking noise when i turn hard! it comes from the front left tire. Ive cheked everything visually, and everything looks ok. i have the stock suspension, stock wheels and 205/55/15 tires.

i have the same thing but its like a slow muffled crunching when I come to a stop really slowly.
Its like, crick curnk clunk crump. =[
balljoints which mean your have to change your driveshafts or buy new boots.
the clikcing sound is due to metal contact (i think). Because the boot that goes around this joint is broken, the grease that is suppose to be there isn't... so you get the noise.
Jack up the car and look underneath. if you see insane amounts of grease all over the place or the boots are all butchered up... there you go.
Ways how you can break the boot:
launching
hit a big a$$ pot hole
when its raining or snow you hydroplane. (you sense the car looses traction and then you feel a jerk when the car gets traction again.)
In either case... time to call THE DRIVESHAFT SHOP!!! 2.9 axles!!!
the boot isnt broken. but ill check the balljoints today!
