I wash when the season changes, sometimes more in winter if I wanna spend the dough for the local wash, helps keep the salt off.
i'd say about 2 as long as rain isn't expected.....
I wash my car probably once a month. But the interior is a different story. Every 3 days I vacuum the interior, armorall the interior, windex inside windows (all around) and windex outside windows.
Every time I wash my car I apply some more Rain-x to all the exterior windows, shampoo the whole interior, clean inside lip and outside face of the rims, and MeGuires 3 Stage wax it. Alng with everything above.
Never use tire shine. I heard it dry rots the rubber. Sidewall leaks are no fun, and almost impossible to find with the rim ff the car. It will only leak with some weight on the tire.
Other than that I never wash my car.
I was my car on average probably once every two weeks. With all the rain we've had around here lately, it just isn't worth washing it any more often than that.
If it wasn't for the brake dust n the rims. I could probably get away with washing my car only 2wice a year.
SSM is the best just for that reason. No show dirty.
I should clean the interior more, it gets dirty fast, and by dirty I mean piled up with kids toys, half eaten food from the kids, dirt from shoes, dash marks from my lady putting her feet up there, fast food containers, junk mail.....
oh well, I do what I do, after an hour commute home from 9hrs of work and facing getting the kids fed and played with and put to bed, I dont really care about the cleanliness of my car....
washing the car every other day is a really stupid waste of time, or do you take it offroading and rally racing every day? do you have constant pollen? or are there people who cannot tolerate the slightest drop of dirt or mud on their precious civics paint?
once a week or sometimes i'll skip a week. Every other day is just overkill
Once a day mostly if I drive it, if it needs it I'll wash it again when I get home. So that could be up to 14 times a week.
I've washed my car in the rain and then pulled it into the garage to dry it. Wheels get blown dry with a leaf blower, and it works well around the rest of the car between body panels and the hatch.
i wash mine prolly around 2-3 times a month.
