It's so nice to not have to post in that "report problems" thread & wait.

Black car I washed every week, white car I wash every month, and silver car I wash every 3-4 months.

For you guys that live in areas with water restrictions have you considered using Optimum no rinse? It requires only 2 gallons of water to wash your car since there is no rinsing involved.

I've washed my car in the rain and then pulled it into the garage to dry it. Wheels get blown dry with a leaf blower, and it works well around the rest of the car between body panels and the hatch.
wow your a beast! i wash it once a week sometimes twice if it gets really dirty.

On the water restrictions factor. Go to the store and buy a couple gallons of water. Over here in MD there about .89 cents each - 1.80 depends if you want to use some expensive water. I heard it makes the wash quality come out better.

Seriously though bottled water doesn't have as much metals in it as say a hose spicket, so shouldn't there be a better wash quality?

I wonder what would happen if everybody over there turned thier hoses on and let them run. Would it cause enough moisture on the ground to be evaporated and cause a rain pour?

Far fetched idea. but funny to think about. Man made rain.
