    06 base and Z1 tran?

Ok I know if you wanted to use a z1 or z3 tranny on a 02-04 rsx then you have some issues. My question is how about using a z1 tran on a 06 base rsx? Does it have the same issues or is it a bolt on affair?

looking at acuraoemparts, the speed gear isnt needed in the 05-06 base rsx transmissions. i figure that means all 05-06 transmissions use the same vss. the 05-06 transmissions should be interchange-able. im sure that the same issues would come up with using the reverse lockout solenoid and the engine wire harness though. hope that helps. this is all speculation of course, but hopefully that leads somewhere in the right direction

It looks like you need to have the speed gear and the vss relocated for using any Z trans...

Yes... I have the Z1 trans I'm working on now and it has the A3/A2 VSS position plugged and you need to tap it and use the a3/a2 vss for it to work... Since you are moving it you need to place that speed ring in...
