    Help Remove Acceleration Pedal on EP3???

    I've been trying to remove my Acceleration pedal to install my Mugen one , can't seem to get it off.

    here's pics of the back.




    anyone know how to remove them?

    you mean the whole pedal assembly not to sure but I drilled my pedals out I have the strut king pedals

    They are attached over the stock pedals. Some require the removal of any rubber pads if so equipped.

    looks like towards the top there is a bushing that goes thru the pedal and the bar

    i haven't installed my fake mugen gas pedal yet too...requires drilling thru metal...so far the fake mugen clutch and brake pedal are holding on really good...

    I heard that all of the EPs made after mid 2002 were made with a fully connected plastic faceplate to the actual metal backing of the pedal, instead of a removable piece. So if your car is newer, you might be screwed, and just have to deal with drilling through the plastic and metal part (that's what I did with my mugen pedal kit on my 04')

    Gotta drill through the plastic into the metal backing. That's how i installed my Mugen pedal covers.
