    Base map for k24 frank

    Well I need a base map to start tuning off of for my k24a1 with a TSX head and type s cams.

    Compression is about 11.7/1
    stock 2003 a2 cam
    Race head with restrictive exhaust
    if anyone could help me out that would be great.

    are the a2 cams a good profile to run with the tsx head?

    Thats a good idea. If you wanted to play it really safe, just retard the ignition 2 degrees across the board and see if the engine knocks. You should be fine though.

    I hope so thats all i have.

    I'm working on building an a2 head over the winter. gasket matching, a little polishing, and some decent cams. Maybe 06 TSX.

    I like it too, because it limits the VTC gear to 25 degs. I have 50 deg clearance but i won't go past 35.

    I'm tuning a tsx today and wanted to start with something a little more aggressive than the tsx kal...any other suggestions? I guess worst case I'll start with it and spend a few hours on the dyno
