    Front grill mods

I removed the SI and painted the "H" black. Paint is drying right now, will re-mount and take pics tomorrow. So far it is going to look awesome !

Did you sand down the emblem first? or just primered it then painted it? (so the paint will stick to the emblem).. thanks --joe :)

Sanded it down with #400 paper. Sprayed a couple of coats of gloss black paint and it looks great. Took off the sliver tab things without bending them. It looks like everything will fit together nice and snug.
    I'll post pics A.S.A.P. ! ;)

    It's black.
Last week I took the front "H" and the plate behind it off to paint and realized my paint was out. So I've been driving without anything on the grill. (Except for the nasty flat spot) Even with it looking bad because of the flat spot I can see it looks alot cleaner up front. All black except for the headlights.

I totallly agree with you. I think this is the next best thing. Cheap too :D
I'd do the rear "H" too, but don't want to mess with glues

    Thanks.

It is a real easy mod. Only half way difficult (a 1 out of 10 rating) part was slowly taking of the metal spacers that hold he "H" on.

I'm doing this same mod only I'm going with Gunmetal, not black. Yours came out real nice!
