    i dont know what i run with a 6 speed because i havent been to the track with it, only the 5, and yeah i know i lucked out on my engine but the crv mount is about 32 bux or something its relatively cheap

    Oh right it is cheap...I was saying you got a score on the engine regardless of mount or not

    Did the price of the CRV mount go up ? Cause I think I paid like $25 for mine like 4 months ago But whatever it is I agree it is relatively cheap.

    How are the ESMM inserts with the k24?

    Is there much difference between them and replacement motor mounts?

    i dont know i havent driven in a car with full replacement mounts, i have a torque dampner and esmm's and i dont have any vibration

    I have a k24 with esmm and i get vib's with the a/c on but that's it.

    I thought that more vibrations = stiffer mounts = better road to wheel contact.

    Aren't vibrations a good thing performance-wise?

    Yea I think I can deal with some vibrations. I wasn't saying that vibrations increase performance, they're just a necessary side-effect. Stiffer mounts = more vibs = better performance.

    What I'm really asking is how much different, performance-wise, the ESMM inserts would be in comparison to full mounts like Innovative. The price difference is pretty large.

    Side Q: Would I need the Innovative front mount too?

    It depends on the level your car is on...if you have a serious build then all four mounts would be a good choice. For a mild build then I'd say 3 mounts and a insert in the front. For bolt ons or anything under 230whp the esmm's will be fine.
