    DIY: Front Tow Hook.

People kept asking me about mine and here it is..well Most of it.

BENEN Front and Rear tow hook set.

    Parts needed -
    1x Set of tow hooks
2x 4in Stainless steel hardware bolts, and Nuts to match
4x Locking washers - Can be found at SMALL hardware stores (ACE)
    1x bag o'washers.
    Sharpe Marker
    Drill
3/4 drill bit - Get one that will go thru Steel
    Can of spray paint.

    1) Open boxes.

    2) Throw bolts that come with the rear in your tool box YOU WILL NOT NEED THEM.

    3) Go to the back of the car with the Bolts & Nuts from the FRONT Rebar kit. - Bolt up like - Nut, Washer, Hook mount on car, Tow hook, Washer, Bolt.
Bottom bolt has Nut, Washer, Rubber grommett(From one of my skateboard parts, comes off trucks),Hook, Washer. -Sorry for the shitty photo

    4) Go to front of car with sharpe & hook and mark on rebar. You will beable to mark it with the front bumper on.

    5) Remove front bumper, Headlamps, & Rebar --Some cutting might be req. I cut, I am getting Fogs next, so what I cut and messed up doesnt bother me.

    6) Place Rebar on Flat surface. Prep drill

    7) Drill holes and bolt up.

What I did with mine is I have bolt, washer, hook, Benen washer, Locking washer, locking washer, washer, rebar, washer bolt - Yes may seem excessive for washers, but its holding. - I will be removing the Washer between the Locking one and rebar.

    8) Make sure its good and tight.

    9) Put rebar back on, headlamps and bumper.

    10) open beer and let the shin busting begin.

    Couple things to point out.

    1) Mine is bolted Below the headlamp. And I had to cut plastic so it works with both my Reg bumper and my Track bumper.

    2) Make sure if you do have them on for Road racing, that SCCA knows how they are mounted, and DO NOT mount to Radiator Support. THAT IS BAD NEWS, because if for say your on the road and a Tow truck hooks to that it will pull it off. Mine is tested, and I can be removed from Sand pits, or out of harms way.

    3) I AM NOT guaranteeing, that if it ISNT installed correct that it will not do damage. I will not take ANY responsiblilty for damage to your car. - So if you have it installed wrong and you decied to use it on track and they test it and it does damage, its not my problem.
