im dont know a lot about turbos but i think the safest was is through kpro. but i could be wrong
This is such a noob question that it might piss some of you veterans off. But whatever.lol. How's everyone runnin and maintaining their boost? Manual boost controler, ebc, boost through kpro w/ map sensor, etc.?? I want to run about 10lbs. on my revhard kit so what's a good selection to go about this?

kpro and get it tuned.. 10lbs is starting to push it, stock internals?
most people run 10lbs on stock....12-14lbs is pushing it
meh its not the psi level of when the motor will fail its the whp rating
like every motor
the a3 likes to shit its pants ~350whp
due to the small rod journals on the crank
i once had a 592whp ep on pump gas, i sold it and bought a Z
(heed my advice i know what im doing)
Yeah that.
If you plan on running anything near or over 10 psi it is imperative that you install a 3-bar. As far as boost control I would recommend you use kpro with a solenoid. Cant beat the bang for buck. Im selling a perrin boost solenoid. Hit me up if you are interested.
Besides your perrin where else can I buy a boost solenoid? (websites please).
By the way how much you willing to let it go for?
And once I have the solenoid and a 4bar map sensor, how the fuck do I go about installing and changing boost with those items?
Looking to get 55+shipping and paypal fees for the perrin. Check kmanager>Help>Contents and search "boost controller installation" and then "Adding a map sensor". That will tell you how to install it. To get the 4bar to read properly you have to go into kmanager>Parameters>MAP and select the Hondata/Omnipower 4bar if you get the Hondata 4bar. To get kmanager to control the solenoid you have to go to kmanager>Boost control and check off "enable boost control", then you have to select "Max boost at 100%/normally closed" for the perrin. Then you have the option to control it fixed or by boost by gear. To create your Pressure vs duty cycle table you have to start with a low fixed duty cycle and determine how much boost that number produces. Like start with 10%, then 20% then 30% etc until desire boost is achieved.
Alot of places sell them. Usually comes to around 90 or 100 shipped depending where you go.

Haha I told you man. 1600s are way toooo much for a street car
i changed my wastegate springg to the 10 psi
you can also use boost by rpm to increase spool
