so i was wanting to know wat motor would be better to boost a k24a4 or a k20a3 i know that the a4 has around 160 horse close to the a3 but the a4 has like 40 more foot pounds of tourqe. well wat im getting to is that wat ever one i go with it will be getting rods an pistons. no head work bc i am planning on down the road to go with a k20a2 head now i know thats were the k24a4 will be good. just looking to get some info other than the k20a3 is junk and the k24a4 head is junk just like the dual cam single vtech wanna be a3. correct me if mistaken but i know that the k24a4 intake manifold and head flow alot more. so im thinking the k24a4, i would go with a k24a2 but i found a k24a4 for really cheap. thanks

When people ask me if my car is turbo, I can finally say yes muthafuxa it is.
Try retyping it in English and you'll get alot more help.
If you want to add an A2 head later on to the K24A4, uh, good luck with that. I think the shape of the pistons on the A4 will collide with moving parts in the A2 head. :tehehe:
Just use the A3. With enough boost, it won't matter.
The guy did state that he plans on swaping out the pistons and what not. SO Id have to say your best bet *Bang for the buck* will be to go with the K24a4, If you plan on boosting, KPro will be the first mod you should get BEFORE the motor swap In my eyes, you will need this for what ever you plan to do.
Why not do it right the first time and get a K24A1?
Oh, I totally missed the comment of getting "new rods and pistons." That jumble of words we're politely considering a post is hard to read.
I think it's neat. The A3 makes great power with boost and if things go wrong, you're only out about $800.
Paragraphs do help immensely. I personally would save for K-Pro, search a lot, and then decide. But I'm still pretty much a newb here:tehehe:
Plan on boost for the a3? Good luck finding rods. NOBODY MAKES THEM. Makes no sense to have good pistons and crappy rods. Like having a hottie as a girlfriend that won't give head.
if you keep the a4's pistons you can only use the a4 head. So if you want an a2 head on the a4 make sure that you are prepared to replace the pistons
