    need to pull off the cam gear so i cant make a tyempate in autocad and decide how much material to mill out at work

    So your going to mod the cam gear yourself, did you decide how much advance your doing to run?

    probably mod it to 40 degrees that should be good

    Autocad?! Come on dog, do it old school with a turntable lol. Yeah all our crap is manual.. Glad to see someone not afraid of experimentation

    finnaly got the bolts to put the engine on the stand, took off the oil pan and oil pump, started to take off the bottom of the block before i noticed that the stand is bolted to a portion of it, and there is not enough threaded holes to hold the block so i have to get a longer bolt and a nut now. pistons and rods are sold, taking them to maryland with me, still debating on what compression i want to go with 9.0 is no good for me so im thinking 10.0:1 sounds good

    im guessing your planning on going s/c or turbo in the near future?

    10 is a little low for an all motor build up

    and def try to take some pics of the cam gear mod, ive been wanting to see how thats done

    ill be boosted going for around 400ish but since im putting the engine together ill be building it to hold more since ill probably want more

    With recent set backs im not sure whats happening with my engine, part of me wants to put it back together and throw it in and build one of my other blocks, but part of me wants to atleast put some rods in it before then. i need to get my car running soon, i cant walk 5 miles to work everyday :(

    i think that if i can locate some rods and pistons cheap maybe an a1 head i might do something with that

    one month till im 21!! w00t and shit. wondering about which bearings to get and still waiting to hear back about some rods, im thinking 10 to 1 compression pistons probably wiesco.

    If im not mistaken the tsx pistons ARE forged..someone clarify that. All you need is rods cuz there already floating wrist pins. And ive got an a1 head.
