what does the ground wire(silver colored) from ignitors ground too, or has anyone ignored the wire, will the bulbs work if not grounded?

I got my whole retrofit setup from TheRetrofitSource. The ignitor wires they sent me have no ground wire. They said they weren't needed.

probably because the set you got was with the aftermarket ignitors, my setup is going to be completely oem (ballast ignitors etc.)
