I've tried that. MDF is too heavy for that application. Just get a sub box and take it out when you need the space.
Hi, I'm pretty new to ICE.
>I was thinking about custom mounting an IB Sub into the hatch deck; the board that is attached by the strings. But instead I'm going to replace that board with the wood they use for enclosures.
--How would that play out?
--Good, bad, problems?
>Also my DVD dac's screen won't pop out anymore. I uninstalled it and brought it inside and noticed that the screen just slides in and out freely, plus I have a disc stuck in there. It's a Audiovox something-er-other; dunno the actual model # of hand.
--Is there anything I can to do repair it?
--Where could I go to get it repair?

Someone did an IB setup in a VW hatchback, it had 2X15's. One thing about IB is to make sure the rear of the drivers are sealed fromt he front radiating surface, this can be a real bear in our cars since the seat is relatively acoustically transparent to low frequencies. Modifications would be great for questionable results. I have sincerely considered it many times ut just could not get an idea of how to get it to work sans venting the rear of the driver outside the car.
I'll post up a draxwing of what i as thinking about doing.
what about dvd head unit repairs?
