All red 04-05 tails

Is there a DIY for this for people who are apprehensive about trying it(like me)?

Heres what i did:

1. Clean the tails with rubbing alcohol

2. mask off the reverse circles (thanks to my buddy)

3. paint away with Van's tail paint, light coats in between 5 minute intervals of spraying (you need 2 cans)

*Pretty straight forward, only issue some people might have is masking off the circles perfectly like mine.

*If you know how to properly clay/polish/seal your paint,tails,headlights, etc then you wont have to "wetsand" the tails since they are in immaculate condition from the get go.

Heres are pictures for reference, its been around on numerous threads (ignore the douche bag looking posers next to the ep )

The tails/car are 2005.
Racinglab.com sells the paint (their shop is 15 minutes away from my house)
About $30 for a can i think but dont quote on me that. If you order from racinglab, ask for Vincent if you call and then say Jeremiah referred you and ask for a discount. Good luck with whatever you decide to do.

man they look good. I'm wondering if anyone has ever modded the 04-05 USDM tails to look like the 04-05 EDM/JDM tails, like red out the yellow turn signal??

i think it would look weird if you just painted that part.

MY tail lights are fading after 2 years after i sprayed them, ima find a day to sand them down and restore them back to stock.

testors translucent candy apple paint is what i used on my xB tails. does anyone have a DIY on how to get the lens off the housing to paint from the inside???stock.

and here is the way i painted them from the inside of the lens. i think this way looks better because you cant see the paint thickness in the maksed areas.
