U need lugs that are made for aftermarket wheels. The width and offset of the wheels will determine if you need spacers or not.
Hey, So I bought a used set of vault rims. They are 18's and chrome. I have no idea what model they are. I know the are universal Five lug. The fit right on my car. My question is Someone told me I would need different lugs or a spacer for them to work or the will strip my studs.
Anyone know if I need anything?

look to the inside of the wheel and find out the off set and also the size of the rim most of the time i think we have 7 inch wheels if they are like +42 off set and 8 inchs wide i doubt they will fit w/o spacers. if you have spacers then you will need extended wheels studs and open ended lug nuts
I already have the wheels on and they don't rub or anything.
Someone was telling me because these new wheels have a bigger hole for the studs because it's universal, That I need aftermarket lugs. Now what do aftermarket lugs do compared to stock one?
Also where can I get some?
What happens if I use my stock ones?
Also what lug size fits our cars?

How do I know which ones are for my wheel?
Someone might come here with the one case where this isn't true, but for the majority of the time aftermarket wheels use a conical/tapered seat lug nut and OEM wheels use a ball/radius seat lug nut.
