    axel popping out

a friend and i were installing my new shocks this weekend and all was going well when my axel popped out (at least that's what i'm thinking happened).
is there an easy way to pop it back in?

No. its a huge pain in the ass, enjoy. We got lucky when mine popped and were able to get it right back in. Make sure you support the LCA next time.

Its easy.....thread on the top 3 nuts(at the top of the strut ) with just enough threads so you can "rock" the strut back and forth. Next, swing the strut over and put the bottom bolt into the lower hole of the strut to knuckle attachment. Now, since the axel is poped out you can not get the top bolt through but you can lean into that top part of the knuckle with the palm of your hand. Do this while turning the disk with your other hand....you can kinda "feel" when things are lined up....I have been known to give that top part of the knuckle a smack with a hammer when I know I have things lined up
