Don't waste your time with the A3 unless you're tight on money. If that's the case...only buy parts that will fit ANY K-series setup. Over the years I bought a lot of parts for my A3, but all of them worked with my A2 when I swapped. Just my .02

You're right, those parts would be different from a2 to a3.

I was thinking I/H/E bolt-ons. I don't think of cams etc as bolt-ons. Maybe I should've said "basic bolt-ons".
