It's quite simple honestly. It's a vinyl H that just covers the black on the current emblem. You wet the emblem a bit, and place the sticker in the correct location. Flatten it out, and peel the paper cover off. Voila.
I did mine first try so I have a couple left over. It's nice that they send a couple because I could see it being tricky for some.
Thanks guys, but does it look legit or can you tell its a sticker?
it looks the same as a type R wheel to me it just doesnt say momo on it
it looks legit as long as you line it up perfect and have no air bubbles or creases in it
yea it's really easy, jus take ur time
lets say, you fuck up and have air bubbles and what not - could you take it off easily? hahaa
thanks again guys and hopefully i put it on good with no air bubbles, will post pics when i get them and install them.
You can't complain for 2 decals shipped for $8, just make sure you line it up and you'll be happy with the results.
Well put it on yesterday and it came out pretty good a few small air bubbles but i'll try getting them out with a tiny needle or something. Gonna post pics later when i can borrow a camera.
If you poke a hole in your decal will not look as good, install your 2nd decal and follow these steps for a good result:
- Obviously remove your current decal
- Clean the install area with rubbing alcohol and a micro fiber cloth, let it dry
- Use a razor blade, knife or whatever to remove the decal from the backing
(do not use your hands because the oils from your skin will effect adhesion)
- Your new decal should be lifted off the backing now and partially stuck to whatever you used to remove it
- Line up your decal and place
- Use a piece of paper over your decal to apply pressure and your golden.
