It is tight on there, there are several dowell pins. Make sure to support the trans and use a dead blow hammer and or a block of wood and use those to get it moving apart.
Do i need to unbolt starter to drop the tranny? it seems like i unbolted everything but its just not coming apart.

its not coming out!!! ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh

i can move it on the fire wall side but its not moving at all towards the front

There is a bolt that goes from the starter side into the trans on the front. Make sure the coolant tube is free enough to allow movement(across end of head and trans).

It wouldnt hurt to unbolt it and pull it out slightly. I know there are more than one thread that has been posted that has pics and directions. Try a search here and the DIY section.
