    Iso Mount

I keep reading in the forums that ISO mounting my head unit might help with the rattle. I believe everyone is referring to using the plastic pieces that came with my dash kit, but I just wanted to confirm.

    Sorry for the newb question.

You screw in to the side of your headunit and use a trim piece. This is the PROPER and only way IMO to mount a headunit.

It will be worth it. The holes should line up on the stock cage, the "mounting kit" will merely be a trim kit now, the CDP will skip less and last longer
