Type r wing too expensive ???!

so i got a type R wing, primed and ready to b painted and this mofos are charging me like $200 and more to get it painted. everywhere i go is like $230,240, 300 . are you kidding me? did anybody experienced the same thing? what should i do, i dont wanna put it on my car like that, it looks like a cavemans car.

I paid $320 to get my sideskirts painted SSM. There was no prep work done at all when I dropped them off.

you do know that if you have an actual Type R spoiler its not just going to fit on your car flush right? You'll have to do some modification to make it fit right. Plus that 200 sounds like a good deal. Friends dad works at a reputable paint shop and they'd probably charge 250 for it or so.

stop being cheap. you get what you pay for. pay the money, get a decent paint job so you wont have to repaint later.

The response that i got when i got my wing painted was 180-200 USD. The wing was fiberglass, needed some work. I told him that if he does a good job and gave me a good price i would let him paint my whole body kit.
He painted it for 120, great deal and still looks good.

Maybe a different approach? Trying never hurts.

strange, its a link to STOOP's area selling oem honda parts on this site.....He has a spical on the hfp wings for like 240 prepainted....

What kind of paint shop did you take it to?

A production shop or custom shop?

I def agree. I got ctr bumper, mugen cf lip, 2 fenders, faded into both my doors. Everything installed. Car detailed inside and out for 600. Took them like 5 days.
