    Aftermarket Lug Nuts?

From what I've read, aftermarket lug nuts are only for aftermarket rims?... well I have HFP Rims and they aren't actually aftermarket, so does anyone know if i bought aftermarket lugs, would the lug nuts still work?

aftermarket lugs are tapered more than the oem lugs but i dont think they are that much different as to where they wont be held tight enough

tapered means the end is sloped in like in the picture below, honda lugs are tapered but not as much as tuner lugs

its not suggested but it will fit. just know that you will be placing all the force on a much smaller area on the lug nut and problems may occur. imo, i don't think its worth the trouble when i think about the positives and negatives.

    Wrong.

Aftermarket wheels use a conical/tapered seat lug nut and OEM wheels use a ball/radius seat lug nut.

    Do not mix and match.

Best advice in this thread. Mixing and matching will also do damage to the rim over time.
