Dude i had the same problem... you wont damage the paint.. just peel the strips rite out.. with sum googone and you'll be stright..
I bought my car used with pinstripes and i had a body shop take them off, now you cant tell i ever had them. Its just a decal, shouldnt be too hard to get off
heat gun...or blow dryer. and a razor blade(just to get a tip up) then just continue useing the heat gun and peeling. then goo-be-gone it and a quick wash and your done.
When i don't have access to air lines i use a heat gun.
If you don't have a heat gun a blow dryer will do the same thing but don't hold it too close or too long in one spot or you can warp the panel.
And you can use any type of adhesive remover to take the tape residue off.
im pretty sure its painted on, i cant check right now because im deployed in iraq...but if it were paint, how would i get it off cleanly? i've tried scratching at it before, and it was dull and didnt want to come up.
how much did the body shop charge????
Leave the pin stripes on they are sexy man!!!
I'm in Maryland bro but if you come to my shop i'd take em off for ya for free.
