    Question JRSC gee-whiz question...

i was just wondering if anybody has any timeslips for the JRSC "STREET" kit with power card? im just wondering...i know there is gonna be somebody on here harping about k-pro and the race kit, but im just curious. anybody???
also, are there any big results going from a JRSC with a short ram intake to a JRSC with a cold air? i already have the short ram...is it worth spending the cash on the cold air???

Probably not with the street kit. Maybe if you're gutted, have slicks, and a good driver.

I wouldn't expect much out of the street kit. I have the race kit, and am already looking for upgrades. I was reading that low 14's high 13's are possible with the race kit. Figure mid-high 14's with the street depending on driver and tire.

i know the race kit w/ 3.8" pulley, tuned well, and traction can get into the 13s. JerseyJew ran a 13.4 or 13.5 on the race kit w/ k-pro tuned, 3.8" pulley, max bore TB pushing 235whp if i remember right. i think he was running drag radials for that run as well. based on that i am thinking high 14s to low 15s.

please explain to me 14s? high 15s?....
I dont drag race so Im sooo clueless to what you guys are talking about.
    please dont burn me....
On what I understand, to run on a 1/4 mile, It will take 14s (14seconds?)
    high 14s (14.89 seconds?) low 15s ( 15.22 seconds?) Am I wrong or right?

so the difference between a Street kit and Race kit to finish a 1/4 mile is by 2 seconds? is that a lot?

yea that sounds about right. My freind has a GSR with just bolt ons stage 2 clutch and a short shifter and he beat me by maybe a car in a race with my JRSC-s. I posted the story on here and got flamed for losing to that, but he goes to the track and ran a 15.1 in that setup. So i never felt bad for losing. That was before my BCRH though. wonder now the outcome

You got it. High 14s are times close to 15 seconds, so are low 15s. Read as "fourteens" and "fifteens," as in, you'll do multiple runs and they'll all be in numbers that will come out around 15 and some change, give or take. And if the difference is two seconds, that's pretty huge on a quarter mile. Cutting 2 seconds off of a 15 second run is 14% faster.

wow really? 2 seconds doesnt sound much...
but on a race I guess is big, doesnt matter if you win by 0.01 seconds...win is a WIN...

It doesn't seem like long until you watch one guy cross the finish line, then count "one one thousand, two one thousand" before the loser crosses, on a 13 second race (much lower in cars that are actually built to drag).

    End thread jack, sorry.

I am still running the 4" pulley. Perhaps the 3.8" could have gotten me closer to 12's!?
